How do the Remote Electronic Fire Pit Inserts work?
Remote Electronic Fire Pit Inserts operate through a seamless and safe ignition process. Here’s how it works:
-
Power Application: Once power is supplied to the unit, either 120VAC or 24VAC, the system begins the ignition process.
-
Gas Flow to Pilot Assembly: The system allows gas to flow to the pilot assembly.
-
Ignition: A hot wire igniter starts to glow, igniting the gas at the pilot assembly.
-
Thermocouple Sensing: The thermocouple located on the pilot assembly senses the pilot flame. Once the pilot flame is detected, the system safely opens the valve to the main burner.
-
Main Burner Ignition: The pilot flame then ignites the main burner, providing the full flame effect.
-
Automatic Safety Feature: If the pilot flame is lost at any point, the unit will automatically turn off the gas for safety reasons. The system will then attempt to restart the process automatically, ensuring continuous and safe operation.
