Depending on the shape, reflective fire glass is treated differently to enhance its shine. Fire glass pieces typically have a mirrored finish on one side, while fire diamonds and drops are dipped in a reflective coating. Both treatments help the glass reflect light, making it sparkle and shine more brilliantly than standard fire glass.

The sizes 1/4" and 1/2" refer only to the thickness of the glass, not the width. What does this mean? It means that the original glass was either 1/4" or 1/2" thick before it was broken into pieces or shaped into beads or diamonds.

For example, when you order 1/2" Fire Glass, you'll receive pieces with varying widths, but all will have a thickness of 1/2".
