HPC designs their products with thoughtful innovation. Each Sierra is proudly handcrafted in the USA using a solid copper sheet that is then coated with an oil-rubbed finish. The 12" penta burner located at the center of the bowl features staggered burner ports that will create a unique flame pattern with a heat output rated up to 50,000 BTUs. The pan is embedded with weep holes to drain out liquid elements. It works in conjunction with the burner's raised hub to prevent water from accumulating in the pan and seeping in the gas line. Rest assured your investment will stand up to the elements because the pan and burner are both made with durable, 304 stainless steel that is rust and corrosion resistant. Decorate the top of the burner using natural lava rock or fire glass media (sold separately).

Select from your choice of a classic match lit ignition system that comes standard or upgrade to the convenience of an electronic ignition system. No matter which you choose, both are CSA certified for safety. A match lit ignition system offers ease-of-use. It requires less maintenance since there's fewer parts involved. To operate your fire pit, use a long-stem lighter to ignite the flames while slowly opening the gas valve. Need to adjust the height of the fire to accommodate a larger group of friends and family or to set the mood for romantic date? No problem! Turn the gas valve counterclockwise for max flames or turn the gas valve clockwise for lower flames. But if you want more convenience, then consider an electronic ignition system upgrade. This On/Off system has the capability of being operated via means of a remote control, wall switch, or whole house system (sold separately). Enjoy a reliable startup with the hot surface ignitor. Internal flame sensing technology means that your system will automatically shut off the gas flow if it detects the absence of flame and will safely restart the commence sequence to reignite the fire.
