The base, like the top, is designed to be beautiful and functional. Hide away your horizontal or 11 lb propane tank (sold separately) behind the built-in access doors within the fire pit's base, a convenient feature for the homeowner who hates the look of propane tanks. Please note that a 20 lb propane tank will not fit within this base. And if you're planning on using natural gas instead, a conversion kit is shipped along with this Elba.
