In addition to this, enjoy the glow of flickering yellow and orange flames as the penta burner produces a bonfire-like flame pattern with a heat output starting from 65,000 BTUs and up to 100,000 BTUs (dependent on model and gas input). Make the flames stand out even more by covering the burner with your choice of lava rock or fire glass (sold separately). When the flames of your fire and water bowl aren't in use, rest assured knowing the pan and burner are actively hard at work. Weep holes on the pan help with draining water while the raised gas input on the burner prevent liquid elements from seeping in the gas line. The burner system is made with commercial-grade 304 stainless steel, a rust and corrosion resistant material designed to stand up against the natural elements.
Select from a match lit ignition system that comes standard or an electronic ignition system upgrade to suit your outdoor living space needs. A match lit ignition system includes a basic gas valve and key for operation. Use a long-stem lighter to ignite the flames of your fire pit while slowly opening the gas valve. Flame height adjustability makes it easy to set the flame settings. Turn the key valve counterclockwise to maximize the flames or turn the key clockwise to minimize the flame presence. As an alternative, upgrade to an electronic ignition system for more convenience. The hot surface ignitor offers a reliable startup while the internal temperature monitoring will monitor the flame status. That means if flame loss occurs, the system will immediately shut off the flow of gas and then restart the flame sequence to reignite the fire. It has the capability of being operated via remote control, timer, wall switch, or even whole house system (sold separately).
