Enjoy all the benefits of our base-level burner system with the added convenience of a battery-operated push-button ignitor! The key valve and ignitor button are placed side by side for easy use. No, these fire pits do not have an access door and are not tall enough to house a propane tank. While they can be used with propane, the gas line needs to be “stubbed” or hard-lined inside the fire pit or fire bowl. Alternatively, you can use a BBQ propane tank placed off to the side and run a gas hose over to the fire pit.
Copper starts off as a shiny metal, similar to a new penny, but it naturally patinas over time. To achieve a beautiful bronze finish, we accelerate this process using our proprietary patina technique. We then seal the copper with a natural oil and wax protectant. If left untreated, copper can develop different colors depending on its environment—such as near the ocean, in the desert, or in mountainous areas. To prevent your feature from turning green, regular maintenance is essential.
We designed and engineered the Moreno to be an heirloom piece. While certain components like ignitors and batteries may need replacement over time, you can expect a lifetime of use from your Moreno feature. Copper is a remarkable material that, with proper care, can last forever.
Most installations can be completed in under an hour. While we always recommend having a licensed professional handle your gas hookup, your Moreno fire pit ships with a set of easy-to-follow instructions that require minimal installation. If your gas and electric utilities are already stubbed up and ready, simply set the fire pit in place, connect the utilities, and hook up the burner. Be sure to test everything first, then add your fire glass or other decorative burner topping, and enjoy!
We are based in Temecula, California, and aim to ship every Moreno order within 2-4 business days. Most configurations are ready to go, but special order configurations may require additional preparation time.
