Your umbrella also comes with the option of a 14x14" square aluminum deckmount plate or zinc-plated ground insert base. The deckmount plate is designed to be bolted into a solid surface while the ground insert base is designed to be inserted into concrete for permanent installation. But for ultimate portability, consider upgrading to the freestanding offset base so you can enjoy the option of moving the umbrella to fit your needs. The freestanding offset based is intended to be used with 24x24" square concrete pavers (sold separately). To keep your investment well-maintained, consider a protective cover (sold separately) to preserve its quality when not in use.
