The energy-saving Bromic Heat Deflector for Platinum 500 Gas Heater is a curved metal plate that attaches to the top of your Bromic gas heater. The purpose of this heat guard is to protect the burners from rain while helping refocus escaping heat back to your desired area. By absorbing and reflecting the heat rather than letting it escape upward, these gas heat deflectors effectively reduce the clearance needed between the top of a heater and the surface above. The stainless steel, dual-layer construction uses the rigid top layer for extra support while reducing radiation of heat absorbed by the bottom layer.
