A is considered the Front Width, B is the Back Width, C is the Depth, and D is the Height

Because all fireplace burners and logs are different, it is a good idea to check the owners' manual for your specific product for the minimum fireplace dimensions. Due to control valves, gas lines, and other factors that add to the width of the unit, the width of your burner should not be the exact width of your fireplace.
