The Martillo's solid copper shell is handcrafted in the USA by artisans and sports a distressed, dimpled surface with a dark brownish-orange hue. Due to the natural oxidizing effects that weathering has on copper, the fire pit will patina into a blueish-green hue over time if not sealed (sealer sold separately). But who said art can't be functional? This fire pit also features a durable stainless steel burner with an impressive heat rating of up to 65,000 BTUs, which will provide luxurious flames for family and friends to enjoy. Crown the burner with the included lava rock to enhance the natural look of your space, and revel in the generous tabletop--ample for keeping your refreshments and appetizers close at hand. Available for both natural gas and propane, the propane models will also include a storage compartment for concealing a standard 20 lb propane tank cylinder inside (sold separately). Select from a match lit ignition system or an electronic ignition system that is CSA Certified for superior safety and exceptional convenience.
