The wait is finally over! Our customers have been asking for a vent free burner system that can be used with popular fire glass. You spoke, so we listened!

We are happy to have in stock and ready to ship Alterna Vent Free Fireplace Burners that can be used with Fire glass. Vent free burners are typically used in approved vent free fireplaces that do not have a ventilation system. Glass doors must be left wide open for proper ventilation, proper combustion and cooling of safety control valves. Vent free burners draw in air from your home and burn at a 99.99% combustion rate to allow use indoors without ventilation.

These unique vent free burners allow complete combustion by designating the fire glass on the burner 'shroud' and leaving the actual burner free and clear of fire glass.

Our vent free burner systems come standard with a built in manual control valve for easy operation. Optional remote controls are available. Select from over thirty fire glass colors, or mix any combination of colors to suit your individual taste!

The 20" vent free burner (30k BTU) will hold 7lbs of fireglass on the shroud.
The 24" vent free burner (40k BTU) will hold 8lbs of fireglass on the shroud.
The 30" vent free burner (40k BTU) will hold 9lbs of fireglass on the shroud.
