This professional CSA certified system utilizes a reliable hot surface ignition system and a smart remote to make enjoyment of your flames easy and relaxing.
HPC's devotion to safe and easy to use fire features is perfectly displayed in this Hi/Lo (High/Low) ignition system. This fire pit insert includes a remote control that features 2-way communication with your fire feature. The remote is used to turn your fire pit on and off and allows for flame height control with a 45% turn down, all while receiving information from the fire pit to advise you of the fire pit's health. The internal temperature monitoring with overheat auto shut off system monitors flame status, internal temperatures and voltages, and other safety parameters. If the flames ever go out, the system will turn off all gas flow, and then safely restart your fire. In addition to this, this High/Low model can be conveniently controlled using your smart phone or tablet (Android or iOS).
The insert comes complete with a 304 stainless steel square drop-in bowl style burner pan and a unique penta burner. The burner offers up to 250k BTUs of heat dependent on size and setup, and it is designed with a hub that is raised above the burner to reduce the chances of water seeping into your gas line. The pan offers weep holes for drainage and is designed to support the weight of the appropriate fire media, the bowl style also contains all of your media to the burner, leaving the space below empty and ideal for air flow for a better flame. The ledge of this unit makes it easy to install. Once you've connected your fuel line, simple drop this kit onto a ledge within your fire feature and begin enjoying your flames.
