The Canterbury Valve Stem Extender makes it easier and safer to turn your gas fireplace On or Off. When manually lighting your fireplace, this useful accessory provides additional safety to keep your hands at a further distance away from the heat of an open flame. It features a threaded coupling that attaches to the valve that allows you to maintain a distance of up to 8" or 18" in length. Too long? No problem! The stem can be cut to your desired size as needed.
