CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Full Time Position - Temecula, CA

Requirements:

  • Has technical knowledge of company products with the ability to provide customers and employees detailed information pertaining to the products or provide direction as to where to find the information through owner manuals or reference materials
  • Negotiates and facilitates technical issues with the manufacturer to rectify customer related matters on behalf of the company.
  • Able to comprehend questions and communicate effectively with customer the solution so the customer clearly understands
  • Reviews and responds to customer positive and negative posts on review websites (Yotpo, Yelp, Trustpilot, Google, etc…)
  • Fields customer service inquiries via the phone and internet, responds to the customer and/or forwards them to the appropriate department.
  • Handles and processes returns requesting Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  • Handles and processes outside warranty claims and returns.Responds to after sales questions and issues.
  • Follows up with customer confirm deliveries, determine if customer is satisfied with their order, determine if the customer’s needs were met, determine if the customer wishes to order additional product(s)
  • Recommends corrective actions to diffuse upset and dissatisfied customers in a calm and professional manner.
  • Collects deposits and issues discontinuance orders.
  • Creates an invoice for the work order in NetSuite and Base Camp.
  • Ensures products or items are processed properly with the Inventory Control Specialist.
  • Receives payments for invoices and tracks invoices.
  • Verifies shipments for both shipping and receiving are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Works with UPS, Fed Ex, OnTrac and other shipping companies to investigate undeliverable or products not received by the customer.

Salary: $13 - $16 per hour based upon experience

SALES AGENT ONLINE RETAIL

We are seeking a SALES ASSISTANT to join our team! You will be responsible for providing support to the Sales and Management Teams here at Starfire Direct. You will be working closely with our staff, existing customers and prospects in assisting the day to day responsibilities of an online retailer. Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Takes calls from prospective customers in person or via telephone.
  • Processes and manages all sales from start to finish.
  • Displays and demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes features.
  • Works with the customer to find a product that meets their needs.
  • Learns the basics of creating new products for the customer in Google Sketch Up.
  • Processes order in NetSuite – supplying the system with the order.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into the computer database.
  • Estimates date of delivery to the customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
  • Follows up with customer after delivery and installation; satisfaction and review of the products; requests photography of the products.
  • Maintains confidential and sensitive customer information; payment processing; customer lists; handling of cash and credit cards.
  • Learns the technical aspects of the company products to be able to physically bring, set up and demonstrate products for show room.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Full Time Position - Temecula, CA

Starfire Direct is looking for a new Warehouse Associate to join our team! They will need to be able to process, assemble and fulfill shipping and receiving orders for the organization.

Job Purpose: Processes, assembles and fulfills shipping and receiving orders for the organization by performing the duties outlined below.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: An employee must be able to perform these essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Office Duties:

  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Accurately fulfills orders from inventory.
  • Follows instructions on packing orders without wasting packing materials.
  • Ensures there is no neglect to delicate materials while handling and packing merchandise.
  • Creates wooden shipping crates with a miter saw, skill and vertical panel saw.
  • Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selecting preassembled containers.
  • Assembles company products for shipping and upon delivery to the customer.
  • Inserts items into containers and wraps them with packing wrap and tape.
  • Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers metal tape.
  • Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates and containers.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
  • Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Assistant Manager on rectifying damages and shortages.
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Operates fork lift or uses a dolly to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
  • Follows instructions on where to find items in the warehouse.
  • Follows safety procedures, such as: handling the equipment properly, wearing the appropriate protective equipment and is complying with OSHA regulations.
  • Follows the warehouse cleaning schedule.
  • Makes white glove deliveries to customers.
  • Presents themselves in a professional and dignified manner with customers.
  • Drives the company delivery trucks.

PURCHASING AGENT / BUYER

Starfire Direct is looking for a new Purchasing Agent / Buyer that will assist the Purchasing Manager with purchasing and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies.

Job Purpose: Assists the Purchasing Manager with purchasing and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies at Starfire Direct, Inc. by performing the duties outlined below. Performs tasks to ensure the flow of procurement from Sales Order origin to delivery of product to end consumer.

Office Duties:

  • Processes all online purchases by approving them in NetSuite, ensuring orders are without issue. Processing the purchase order to vendors and estimating the shipping and delivery dates for the customer.
  • Learns all company products; what they are made of, how they are made, ensures compatibility of products, understanding if customer or employee has not ordered the correct parts as well as making recommendations to ensure a successful purchase.
  • Follows instructions on purchasing systems and procedures.
  • Assists the Purchasing Manager with auditing the company's inventory.
  • Follows instructions for auditing inventory, including cycle counts, transfers and warehouse balancing.
  • Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices from NetSuite.
  • Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Verifies with the Warehouse Manager that new shipments have been received.

Warehouse Order Clerk

Full Time Position - Temecula, CA

Starfire Direct is looking for an experienced Warehouse Order Clerk that will help with receiving, shipping and inventory control.

Job Purpose:Processes, assembles and fulfills shipping and receiving orders for the company. Must also perform the duties outlined below:

Job Duties:

  • Manages pick ticket orders
  • Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements
  • Ensures that orders are accurate
  • Stages items correctly for delivery
  • Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
  • Plans and monitors product storage and dispatch
  • Oversees stock replenishment
  • Monitors stock control systems through cycle counts
  • Receive incoming shipments and process RA’s
  • Ensures warehouse goals are met
  • Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
  • Shrink wraps products to pallets
  • Loads delivery vehicles
  • Packs warehouse orders as necessary
  • Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked, and inventory is managed accurately
  • Performing and assisting with other general warehouse duties as needed

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • High School Degree/GED and minimum of 3 years of warehouse related experience

Certificate Qualifications:

  • Driver’s License with a good driving record
  • Forklift/Standing Forklift certification & experience is preferred

Position Qualifications:

  • Must have experience with tools and equipment such as: hammers, saws, measuring tapes, screws, nails, screw drivers, etc.

Ecommerce Specialist

Full Time Position - Temecula, CA

The Starfire Direct Ecommerce Specialist is one of the most integral members of our Web Production/Ecommerce team, and works on many facets of our website. As an Ecommerce Specialist, you must exhibit a unique set of critical thinking skills and abilities to quickly and efficiently get new products, collections, and pages uploaded to StarfireDirect.com as well as maintain existing products, collections, and pages on the site. Strong writing skills, troubleshooting skills, great attention to detail, and working well in a team environment are all essential skills for this role. As part of the Ecommerce team you are at the frontlines of how our customers experience and purchase Starfire Direct's products. Your creative words will inform and engage our target audience, and your organizational skills will have a direct impact on the success of Starfire Direct.

Job Duties:

  • Write long-form and short-form blog articles in line with the seasonal marketing plan.
  • Upload product updates via CSV files into NetSuite, our ERP.
  • Use critical thinking skills to troubleshoot errors when uploading to NetSuite and Shopify.
  • Upload product images to products within Shopify, often using a bulk upload Excel process.
  • Work with the Marketing team to implement promotions across the website.
  • Communicate with Sales and Customer Service teams on areas of improvement to improve the customer experience.
